the zest for life!... not really

her unusual zest for life 

would make her end up down

the roads of the untied ends

the radiantly glow from all the 

good moments

would dive her into deep darkness

oh no, how could she know?

after all, nothing really important ever happens in her life

the unashamed bright gestures

ever so naive as ingenious

carefully placed her in the shadows 

the grips of the rational side of the brain

the absence of presence that her body inside a tomb

could ever feel

and so the story unfolded

unanswered, unwanted, un... wittingly

knowing, all the while, the glow inside could blind

but no one even cared to see

how bright it shined

how simple her mind

the town was her own to pace

round and round, avoiding all the things and people 

that might harm her -

not really, just in her mind-

so she waited for all humanity to fall

as she was precisely the one who could not end her own

(how unfortunate!)

the skins turned gray

the eyes turned stone

all the humans, one by one

fading away at her sight - from high up above

in her beloved and embellished view

bodies are now ashes

remaining windy memories

and now she could

be released

oh, how she longed for that moment! 

through all the immortality

the suffering and the good

just to sensitive and empathic to end her own pain...

the scene was set for a spectacular ending

and from high up above,

fading away at her sight  

in her beloved and embellished view...

she ran, she jumped, she flew, she fell.

the ashes below embracing her body

- nevertheless destroyed at the moment -

finally there was some color

amongst the white, the black and the in betweens

a splash of neon colors made the world,

now devoid of any life,

a beautiful thing to observe

from Venus or Mars...

oh, the marvellous ending of a gray life

spraying the bloody colors

of nothingness

forever and ever, over the ashes

in a bright light

that she always had had

hidden away from human delights

now shined strong all over the universe...

what a wonderful ending

to a gray life

so much color

without even a knife
