lounging area

she is in her forties. Long hair in a ponytail, divided in two main colours - blue and pink. Somewhere in the middle the two meet and create a lovely violet. She moved in a swift jump, carrying off the wheels with more ease than expected given the size of the suitcase - and her beige cardigan hanging from the handle has a sleeve sweeping the floor as she walks away.two tables away a couple is fast asleep. Confrontational sitting, opposite sides. Heads on the table, arms crossed and touching. I wonder if one of them has an alarm ready to go or if they're one of those people who just snooze off to sleep and wake up with no fuss. They're heads almost touch.three staff members walk around in circles (I've seen them come around and go four times already) - each one with their hands on their pockets. Do they like each other? They all walk with heavy steps in a defensive posture, not really close to each other.a young woman has buried her head in her handbag and is now completely covered in her furry hoodie. I wonder if she is wide awake and eavesdropping or if she is fast asleep...everyone has a winter coat on. Except the blue t-shirt guy who seemed quite confused about the recycling bins. He carefully read the words imprinted on each and tossed his body back and forth before deciding to throw the cup on the far left bin. Unlike him, the older lady who was three tables to my right was quick to throw the item away as she walked by them after getting up.she is back now, she seemed completely decided to leave the lounging area but as soon as she turned to the escalator she took a sharp turn and walked back. She is now sitting in the exact same chair and has placed her luggage at the same spots she had before. She yawns and rubs her hands down her face as she leans against the glass wall - I wonder why she got up in the first place?the girl who is either wide awake or in deep sleep just let her hand slip from holding her head - still buried in the handbag.a young guy, mid-twenties, is sporting the earphones around while clearly alert to his surroundings. His eyes move around quickly and his head turns from the left to the right, checking everyone around.the cleaning lady is coming back in full swing - after cleaning my table she is now sweeping the floor. The sweeper is large so she is just walking around while holding it in her left hand, as if lead by a dog on a leash.two guys are talking russian - I wouldn't really mind that if they weren't sitting apart and exchanging words loudly. They are both looking at the screens of the phones so I'm guessing they want some privacy and space while maintaining a conversation with each other. As long as they don't wake up the sleeping people around... Oh, they're now using french. Are they spies?a woman is holding a coffee cup. That is my cue. I'm going for it. Another sleepless night - so worth it.another sleepless night, another one for the books...(I wonder if my legs are now too comfortable for me to get up...)
